Watch: Kaada/Patton’s ‘Red Rainbow’ directed by Rune Spaans
In association with TIDAL, Ipecac Recordings has today announced the launch of the CG animated music video for the 2016 Kaada/Patton album Bacteria Cult, set to the opening track ‘Red Rainbow’.

The video is directed by Norwegian VFX artist Rune Spaans (AKA Superrune) and heavily based on his award-winning short film The Absence of Eddy Table, which itself boasts an original score by John Kaada and the voice talents of Mike Patton. Produced by Eric Vogel and written/designed by Harvey Award-winner Dave Cooper, the film has screened all over the world at festivals including Clermont-Ferrand, Ottawa International Animation Festival, Festival Ciné Court Animé, Fantastic Fest, Norwegian Short Film Festival and Giraf Festival of Independent Animation among others.
