Tickets Now Available For Brighton International Animation Festival 2025

The Brighton International Animation Festival is set to take place for the Fourth year running on Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th April 2025. The festival was accredited by BAFTA last year putting Brighton on the map for animation, it being one of only 4 BAFTA qualifying animation festivals in the UK.
The festival is a fantastic celebration of contemporary animation, held at Brighton’s iconic Fabrica venue. This year introduces new programmes Fantastical Worlds and East Asian Panorama, celebrating the best new talent coming out of Japan, China et al. Other programmes include New Generation the best of new grad talent and an annual LGBTQ+ programme, Brighton International Animation Festival being the only animation festival in the UK that encompasses queer themes. It is also the only UK festival to host an Augmented Reality exhibition alongside the programme – this year the theme is Heroes so expect to see bees, plumbers and a whole array of characters brought to life on the walls of Fabrica! All films are subtitled with BSL interpreters at all screening events, making it fully accessible for deaf & hard of hearing.
