As the sun sets on the Greek island of Syros, another edition of Animasyros festival is over for another year.
Over one hundred animation professionals from 16 countries (plus many international visitors from all corners of the globe), took part in this year’s festival, which was the largest and richest program ever with 270 films, 8 competition sections, the International Panorama, 3 special tributes (Animation & Ancient Greece, Iberian Peninsula & Latin America, Poland), films specially selected for children, workshops for all ages, and the Agora, the industry event which has emerged as a reference point for the industry of the East Mediterranean region.
