The KLIK! Amsterdam Animation Festival is in search for the newest animation beauties
Hear, hear. Calling all animators around the world! This year around, the KLIK! Amsterdam Animation Festival is again on the search for the cream of the crop that international animation has to offer to participate in the festival’s international competition this November. Professional and student films, commissioned (like music videos or commercials) or 3-D Stereoscopic animation. Every technique, style and subject is welcome!
You can submit your films for KLIK! 2013 right at this very moment. Submitted works will be competing for shiny (money) prices and galaxy-wide fame. Besides the awards for Best Professional, Student, 3-D and Commissioned animation there are also the Amsterdam Audience Award, the Young Amsterdam Audience and the Political Animation Award to be won. During the festival both an international jury and the audience will decide on the winners of KLIK! 2013.

Submitting animation to KLIK! is free. A submission’s running time shouldn’t exceed 25 minutes and has to be produced later than January 1st, 2012. Animations can be submitted either through mail or online up to July 1st to participate in the competitions of KLIK! 2013. After submitting you can start crossing your fingers, until the official selection gets published in August.
Besides its annual competition KLIK! presents you something brand new this year: the KLIK! World Domination Award. Every organization, studio or individual that helped Dutch animation to reach more international succes has a chance of winning the prestigious World Domination Award. In September everyone will be able to suggest an organisation, studio or individual after which a professional jury will deliberate who the proud winner of the award will be. The official jury will be announced soon.

The KLIK! Amsterdam Animation Festival is an annual animationfestival which will celebrate its sixth edition this year in EYE, the new filmmuseum, in Amsterdam. The greatest and latest animation will be accompanied by a various offer of masterclasses, thematical programmes, parties and activities. Last year’s international competition received more than 1200 submissions from 71 different countries.
