The British Animation Awards Return!
The essential biennial celebration of the British animated form that is The British Animation Awards is returning to showcase the finest this island has to offer in 2016 and entries are now being taken.
Those lucky enough to win in their category are always in for a treat. The awards themselves are hand crafted by world renowned animators and artists with Tim Burton, Richard Williams, Bob Godfrey, Chuck Jones, Glenn Keane among the list of legends who have previously created sculptures, framed works of arts and doodles for the much anticipated event.
Celebrating it’s 20th anniversary the awards are inviting work created from 2014 in the following categories.
Best Animation in a Commercial
Best New Director: Commercials
Best Film/TV Graphics
Best Long Form Animation
Best Voice Performance
Best Use of Sound
Best Music Video
Best Short Film
Best Children’s Pre School Series
Best Children’s Series
Best Commissioned Animation
Best Student Film
