What is the film about?

The story depicts the struggle of a father who is trying his utmost not to rouse his sleeping baby, as the world around him seems to crash, bark, crumble and fall, turning his sleepless night into a nightmare.

What influenced it?

My drawing style is very much influenced by the art of Bill Watterson and Joy Batchelor.

A little background information...

At first I really struggled coming up with a story for my final year student film. I think That the character designs lead the story more than anything. I aimed for a comical, hear-warming story with aesthetics that were easy on the eye yet distinct and appealing. The film ended up winning the Best film of class 2015 award at its first screening.

How was the film made?

The film was drawn traditionally in charcoal then scanned and edited using Adobe After Effects and Premiere.
