A little background information...

We were awarded funding though Hiive to create a short animation based on Adam Foreman’s ‘Woodsman’ illustration. We felt that the game style would help give a fresh take on this well told fairy tale.

How was the film made?

2D/3D clay cut out style, animated using a mixture of stop motion and traditional frame by frame techniques.
