What is the film about?

Movie Night! is a nostalgic nod to the 90’s and shows a family heading off to their local video store to grab their weekends entertainment.

What influenced it?

All the nostalgic feelings of the 80’s and 90’s and also some animations from that era too such as The Simpsons, Rugrats and Bob and Margaret.

A little background information...

Movie Night is my latest collaboration with Giphy Arts. It stems from my I love of looking back at things we found so normal growing up, but are now a relics of the past. I really miss that Friday night trip to your local video store to pick up the weekend’s entertainment.

This film was all animated frame by fame in Adobe Animate, photoshop and comped in After Effects
