What is the film about?

‘Let’s Learn Anatomy’ is a new app for KS2 7-11 year olds, covering the reproductive system, circulatory system, skeletal and muscular systems in a new and interactive way.

A little background information...

I created this app for my third year project at Bristol School of Animation. I’ve always loved drawing anatomy images as you get to learn while you’re illustrating, and so decided to make something for kids, that tries to get across how exciting the subject can be.

How was the film made?

I made the app using Actionscript 3 in Flash, I then packaged the app using adobe air so that it would be compatible in the app store.

All the scientific information was sourced from places like the national curriculum and anatomy/life processes books, the artwork and coding was done by me.
