A little background information...

Hi-Rage is a very layered piece that incorporates elements of light painting, live action video collage, stop motion, hand drawn Photoshop animation, direct clay animation, paint on film, mixed in with pixilation footage from a killed music video we completed last year.

Working within the constraints of the rejected pixilation footage threw up some interesting challenges for us to create a new narrative that explores personal loss and creative struggles.

Pixilation photoshoot, composited with stratacut and experimental animation/film in After Effects.
