A little background information...

I’ve always wanted to make a film about answers searching. This film might be longer than my usual projects, as the protagonist’s journey delves deeper than our everyday consciousness. I first envisioned this film during my school days, but its 20-minute length made it challenging to propose as a student project.

I wanted this movie to challenge the viewer, questioning our assumed reality and beliefs. The journey of the main character resonates with one’s search for truth, beyond the obvious into more profound areas.

How was the film made?

I started making this film shortly after graduating from college, and it took three years, from 2020-2023 to complete. I used Autodesk Maya for 3d animation, I also experimented with creating cel shading using neural style transfer, by incorporating my hand-painted line drawings into rendered layers.
