What is the film about?

On the1st of March 2013 I decided to try animating something everyday for 30 days.

What influenced it?

Michaël Dudok de Wit, Joannna Quinn, Uli Meyer, Quentin Blake, Juanjo Guarnido and many film actors.

A little background information...

I was unemployed at the time, waiting between jobs. I wanted to keep up to speed for my new job up but also have some fun with animating random things.
I was inspired by this TED video

How was the film made?

It was all animated in TVPaint and edited with iMovie.
It was difficult to even think of what to animate most days. I spent a few hours on average for each day, sometimes it felt like all day. I originally intended to do them quicker but they usually didn’t get going till the late evening. This also meant all the days where only ‘first passes’ or ‘straight aheads’. After the first 5 days I realised I should try to maintain a reasonable quality. It wasn’t easy, a lot of time was spent hitting a wall but I had fun trying something different everyday.
