Second Home Studios and Stitchy Feet win Grand Prize at Seoul Promotion Plan Conference 2017.
Tweedy & Fluff, an animation project in development for CBeebies, competed at the SPP conference in Seoul this month and won the Grand Prize. The prize came in the form of a crystal trophy and $15,000 USD.
The project was created by BAFTA-winning producer and children’s author, Corrinne Averiss and is part of an ongoing collaboration between two creative companies: Second Home Studios and Stitchy Feet based in Birmingham, England.
During the pitch, Chris Randall (Director of Second Home Studios) described the characters and highlighted the importance of the child-pet dynamic in the programme, which will instil nurturing qualities in a young audience. The pitch featured bespoke animation made for the Korean hosts, plus concept artwork for the proposed set location.
Chris Randall said:
‘It was fantastic to have our show so well received at SPP, it really helps increase Tweedy & Fluff’s momentum as we move toward production.’
