Netflix have today debuted two teaser posters for their upcoming animated feature Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie.

The film, a spinoff of Stephen Hillenburg’s hugely successful animated series Spongebob Squarepants, is directed by Liza Johnson (whose TV credits include The Last of Us, What We Do in the Shadows, American Horror Story and Silicon Valley) with a script by Kaz and Tom Stern and a cast including Carolyn Lawrence, Tom Kenny, Wanda Sykes, Clancy Brown, Bill Fagerbakke, Mr. Lawrence, Rodger Bumpass, Johnny Knoxville, Craig Robinson, Grey Delisle, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino and Matty Cardarople. The film is exec-produced by Marc Ceccarelli and Vincent Waller.

When Bikini Bottom and all its denizens are suddenly scooped out of the ocean, Sandy Cheeks and SpongeBob SquarePants journey to Texas to save the town from a villainous plot.
