For direction, screenplay and the whole visual side of the 7-minute animation responsible is Andrzej Jobczyk whose works connect natural sciences and minimalist surrealism.
The film was inspired by my childhood memories. I grew up surrounded by nature and as a child I loved planes and everything regarding aviation. Connecting these two symbolisms and their permeation was beginning of a story about evanescence and rebirth – Andrzej Jobczyk explains and highlights how crucial was support provided by studio Letko that helped specifying film’s concept.
Film’s narrative develops a few parallel plotlines. In the story created by Jobczyk it is possible to notice ecological themes crowned with hope that nature will find a way to transform disastrous results of human war machines’ interference into space available for blossoming of a new life.
Extraordinarily captivating visual layer of animation is complemented by thrilling music score by Jakub Słomkowski and Rafał Smoliński. Audio effects were prepared by Michał Fojcik, thanks to whom conceptual graphics became more real and sensual, and fantasy hybrids of machines and nature gained their own voice. The one responsible for editing was Nikodem Chabior who previously cooperated with Monika Brodka and Bovska. Executive producer was Martyna Siwińska.
