Pixar sets Incredible release dates but toys with Woody
Pixar have just made over $4 billion at the box office! In celebration of this incredible milestone, at New York Comic Con they announced release dates for their future films and a slight delay to Toy Story 4.
So far this is what their current release slate looks like up to 2020:
- Finding Dory – 17th June 2016
- Cars 3 – 16th June 2017
- Coco – 22nd November 2017
- Toy Story 4 – 15th June 2018 (Originally set to be released 16th June 2017)
- The Incredibles 2 – 21st June 2019
- Untitled Pixar Film – 13th March 2020
- Untitled Pixar Film 19th June 2020
This means a lot is coming up in the next few years to be excited about, even with the pushback on Toy Story 4. 2015 sees the first year that Pixar released two films within the same year, so they clearly feel a lot more confident that they’ll be able to pull this off again.
Along with this, Disney have also announced multiple Disney animation movies as well as changes to the Marvel release state. Check out all the new announcements here.
