Nexus Studios directors create snappy animation ‘Clink Clink’

Launching this week to mark the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions in the UK, James Graham in collaboration with Nexus Studios talents Jack Cunningham and Nicolas Ménard have mined a series of ideas from their “pitch vineyard” to create a snappy animation set to Masayoshi Takanaka’s 1977 track Sexy Dance. The full piece combines the animation talents of Iris Abols, Marie Eriksen, Peter Dodd, Josceline Fenton, James Hatley, Isaac Holland, Joel Stenbäck, Tyson Stryg, Emma Wakley and Maki Yoshikura and was edited by Dave Slade
Clink Clink is a snappy animation brewed out of a series of drawings left gathering dust in the pitch vineyard. Now aged like a fine wine, it exists for the sole purpose of cultivating smiles and head bops, in a world where boozy benders are a distant memory.
