“I love animated short films but I don’t know where to watch them”.
Who hasn’t heard this sentence before?
Based on this observation, Miyu Distribution has decided to create BANG BANG, a new Youtube channel, 100% dedicated to independent animated short films. The launch will take place on Friday February 4 with the aim of giving access to the diversity of contemporary animation to as many people as possible.
On BANG BANG, the public will discover multi-award-winning films, but also more confidential and cutting-edge films, which deal, for instance, with LGBTQIA+ themes or horror genre.
Created in 2017, Miyu Distribution grew from Luce Grosjean of Seve Films’ partnership with Miyu Productions with a focus on the international sales and distribution of top-tier, independently-produced animated shorts and graduation films from the world’s leading animation institutions. Four of Miyu Distribution’s titles have received Oscar nominations. In 2020 Miyu Distribution were the recipient of the Unifrance Award for the Best Short Film Distribution Company.
