The Lego Movie builds suspense with it’s latest trailer
On average there are 62 Lego bricks to a every one person on earth, so when we say Lego, the building block toy system loved by children and adults alike is a big franchise, it would be an understatement. Many an animator began their journey adding character and movement to these little block headed creations, so the animated Lego movie has arguably already been made billions of times since 1932. With such high expectations, what a daunting task to live up to! the brand new trailer has been released and gives the audience a little more understanding of the kind of wacky adventure we are to be taken on.
The Lego Movie hits our cinema screens in 2014. The American (Warner Bros) and Australian (Animal Logic) joint venture is an adventure comedy directed by Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs creators, Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
Over the past few days the makers have been releasing short promos introducing audiences to Emmet, Wyldstyle, President Business, Metalbeard and Batman.
Synopsis
An ordinary guy named Emmet (Chris Pratt) is mistaken as being the Master Builder, the one who can save the Lego universe. With the aid of an old mystic named Vitruvius (Morgan Freeman), a tough young lady named Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks), and Batman (Will Arnett), Emmet will fight to defeat the evil tyrant Lord Business (Will Ferrell) who is bent on destroying the Lego universe by gluing it together.
The latest trailer released today gives us a deeper visual look into the anticipated animated film. The Lego company have already ‘posted’ several smaller clips, teasers, introducing us to the main Hero, Emmit and yesterday Batman, as well as giving us sneak-peaks into the largeness and richness of the world.
The Lego Movie takes our expectation we’ve long dreamed to a whole new level, a plot based on the limitless of the imagination, childish peril, gags and the muti-character/multi-universe franchise.
