KLIK! ends with festivities and looks back on a successful edition
After a booming saturday party in Tower and an awardshower during the award ceremonie, KLIK! starts at the last day of the festival. After the last screening the festival closes with the closing ceremonie. The organisation of KLIK! looks back with joy on a very successful sixth edition of the festival.
The audience of KLIK! had the chance of enjoying all the winning films that were presented saturday during the program Best of KLIK!. Last but not least, today the Toon Boom Young Audience Award is presented. The award was presented, together with a Storyboard Pro Software Package of €1000 proved by Toon Boom, to Forever Mime, Michael Visser (The Netherlands, 2013).
The Sunday of KLIK! was devoted to young animationlovers with the program KLIK! For Kids. Children from the age 4 to 6, 6 to 9 and 9 to 12 enjoyed a specially curated program in EYE Cinema 2. The young animation lovers were treated on a program with suprising, funny and joyful animations that all together formed a varied program.
This year the KLIK! Amsterdam Animation Festival had even more visitors than last year. With an expansion from five to six days and a second location next to EYE, the festival keeps on growing and will return next year from November 4th to the 9th with the greatest and latest animation in all it’s forms
