‘Hilda’ is coming to Netflix
Luke Pearson‘s, pint-size explorer Hilda is to have her own animated series on the international streaming site Netflix in 2018. Originally a series of comic books created by Pearson for Nobrow Press, Hilda – who lives with her mother in a magical world inhabited by giants, trolls and other such staples of folklore – is a precocious young girl who loves nothing more than playing outside, meeting new friends and discovering new worlds in a her ever-expanding back yard.
The animated series is aimed at older children and is to be produced by Silvergate Media, the makers of Octonauts, in collaboration with Mercury Filmworks.
