Get Animated 24 ‘UK Business Of Animation’ Conference Sets 2024 Date & Location
The Get Animated UK ‘Business of Animation Conference’ takes place on the 1st and 2nd May 24 at the new venue Millennium Point Conference Centre, Birmingham England – ten minutes train journey from Birmingham International Airport.
Get Animated 24 is now a full two-day business conference with educational panels which will include a NEW market place for the UK animation industry – panellists confirmed so far include:
Hasbro (Toy Company), Aardman (Studio), BlueZoo (Studio), Jellyfish Pictures (Studio), Tim Searle (Producer / Director), Cantilever Media (Finance Producer), Toys n Playthings (Magazine), Tim Patterson Consulting (Production Consultant), Larkshead Licensing (L&M Agent), Reemsborko (Anime L&M agent), Nicola Webster (Press Relations), Kirsty Barr / Grapevine PR (Press Relations), Kong Studios (Studio) and Bulldog Licensing (L&M Agent) with more being confirmed shortly.
An early bird rate, two-day conference ticket costs £166.66 – with the awesome offer ending on the 31st January 24 – the normal price goes up to a great value of £225 plus vat & fee.
This includes entry to the two-day conference to watch the panels, opportunity to hold meetings at the UK market place, lunch and refreshments and entry to the Get Animated first night party which includes complimentary drinks and canapes.
There are also 50 student and recent graduate seats available which are priced at £125 each.
We have now gone BIGGER and packed in more business content for Get Animated 24 due to the huge success of the inaugural conference in October last year, which had the BBC, Paramount, Warner Bros. Discovery and the UK Department of Business and Trade as highlight panellists.
I looked at the location of UK studios and Birmingham seemed a great central location for everyone to get to. We hold our sister Brands & Retail L&M winter conferences at Millennium Point and the venue is in my opinion the best in the country, and we are also helping to promote UK regional growth.
Birmingham International Airport is only a ten-minute train ride from the venue so for international visitors and commissioners it should be easy to get to especially from Ireland. Birmingham is only 1 hour 13 minutes from London Euston, 2 hours from Wales and around 5 hours from Scotland.
