First look at Netflix’s Centaurworld from creator Megan Nicole Dong
Netflix has today unveiled a trailer and images from it’s forthcoming TV series Centaurworld. The series has been created by Megan Nicole Dong who describes the show as an ‘action, adventure, fish out of water, fantasy, road-trip musical’, with a description like that it would seem we have a lot to look forward to!
Centaurworld follows a war horse who is transported from her embattled world to a strange land inhabited by silly, singing centaurs of all species, shapes, and sizes. Desperate to return home, she befriends a group of these magical creatures and embarks on a journey that will test her more than any battle she’s ever faced before.
Contrasting the colourful, ‘muppety’ world of Centaurworld is the world that the Warhorse comes from which is bleak, battle-hardened and serious setting. View the newly released images in our gallery below.
From the trailer it looks like the audience will be treated to a cavalcade of colourful characters, spectacular action sequences and musical mayhem. Viewers can catch Centaurworld on Netflix soon.
