Hi, I am Sen, an indie creative director and a curator of the African animation industry, I am African, Nigerian, but currently live in UK with my own family. Last we staged the first event tagged The African Animated shorts Experience and it was truly an experience, not only did we manage to attract animated shorts from all over Africa from Egypt to Kenya to Uganda to South Africa, Nigeria, to Ghana etc we also had comic books and novels from African creators.
We were able to run this first event on a very tight budget, sadly this time we do not have the luxury of such sponsorship and at the risk of not being able to run a second event this year, it’s already billed for September 2024. To make this a reality and not just a dream based on hopes, we ask you to consider JUST GIVING to us to support this second event. The plan is to make a bigger activity in 2025 on a film festival level and to do this we need to speak to sponsors who will need to see a track record of our event, being able to have this second event will no doubt be a good track record in addition to the first one from last year 2023.
