EIFF 2015: Ainslie Henderson wins McLaren Award for Stems

At the 69th Edinburgh International Film Festival the winner of the 2015 McLaren Award for British Animated Short film has been announced. Director Ainslie Henderson has taken home the award for his short film Stems a stop motion short film in which animated creatures made from found objects, create music amongst themselves whilst under the short but sweet spell of animation.

The music for the short film was produced by Poppy Ackroyd. Henderson was presented the award and £1000 prize money by EIFFs Master of Animation Barry Purves.
