Dec 13: Advent Snowflake (Delia Hess)
A beautifully animated cut paper piece that brings me back to kindergarten craft projects. Who am I kidding? I still make these paper snowflakes and tape them to my windows every winter! Swiss animator Delia Hess has taken the paper snowflake to a new level of delicacy and movement in her contribution to Switzerland’s UMÄR Animadventkalender.

Interesting moment, fact or point of inspiration from your production:
This was a really fast and improvised production. I didn’t plan much in advance and it was made within three days: two days animating in my father’s rear chamber and another for the sound design and music.
Most memorable Christmas moment:
Mr. Whippy’s Ice Cream!
At the top of the Christmas list:
I don’t need a wish list. My parents keep bombarding me with tons of tiny, pretty Christmas presents anyway 🙂
