Danger Mouse Returns!
The remake for the classic series Danger Mouse has long been in the works, and now just over year since plans were officially announced we finally get a sneak peek at the new look DM and his trusty sidekick Penfold in action.
In place of the classic combo of Cosgrove Hall and David Jason the new series has been produced by Boulder Media on behalf of rights holders Freemantle Media with the classic characters given new voices by Alexander Armstrong as Danger Mouse, Kevin Eldon as Penfold and Stephen Fry as Colonel K. Danger Mouse arrives on the BBC in September 2015.
The BBC website confirms confirms that new characters and old will be joining the cast, with Game of Thrones star Lena Headey voicing US Secret Agent Jeopardy Mouse and comedian and talk show host John Oliver voicing mad scientist wolf Dr Augustus P Crumhorn III. As well as these new characters it has also been revealed that Count Duckula will also appear in the new series “testing Danger Mouse’s resolve with his traditionally dark and dangerous ways.”
