Cyriak – Malfunction
YouTube sensation Cyriak – known for his surreal and truly bizarre animated shorts which consist of celebrity culture, repetition and often his home town of Brighton – has created a new short Malfunction which uses 1960s stock footage of housewives shopping and cleaning, along with warping, walking, mutated faces. In each cycle weirder and creepier elements are added to the surrounding environment of Cyriak’s imagining.
Along with posting the video on his YouTube channel Cyriak has said.
I’ve no idea what this video is. It crawled out from some dark corner of my computer after evolving from the virtual maggots that feast on rotting film footage. Enjoy!
