WATCH: Chintis Lundgren directs latest animated music video for Sparks
Ground-breaking pop pioneers Sparks, comprised of LA siblings Ron and Russell Mael, recently announced the release of their new song One For The Ages from their upcoming album A Steady Drip, Drip, Drip.
Who among us doesn’t feel the need to be involved with One For The Ages, either in a creative endeavor, a personal relationship, or as the next Michael Jordan?

To accompany the song the band commissioned an animated video by Estonian animation director Chintis Lundgren. This follows a tradition of animated video clips from the band that include Hippopotamus, directed by British filmmaker/animator Scott Peters, and Joseph Wallace‘s stop-motion music video for Edith Piaf (Said It Better Than Me).
Having been actively animating since 2008, Chintis has since gone on to co-found the Croatian animation studio Adriatic Animation as well as running her own Chintis Lundgreni Animatsioonistuudio, with recent acclaimed short film work including 2015’s Life With Herman H. Rott, 2017’s Manivald and last year’s Toomas Beneath the Valley of the Wild Wolves.
One For The Ages is available now via BMG at all DSPs and streaming services. For more on the work of Chintis Lundgren visit chintislundgren.com or listen to our 2017 podcast interview (stream below or direct download):
