Channel 5’s Milkshake commissions new “Little Princess”

Channel 5 today announced that they have commissioned season four of pre-school series, Little Princess from The Illuminated Film Company. The order of 35, 11-minute episodes of the animated series will begin production later this year and will air on Channel 5’s hugely popular pre-school block, Milkshake! in 2018.

Starring Julian Clary and Jane Horrocks and based on the original picture books by Tony Ross, Little Princess follows the adventures of the only child in a royal household and has been BAFTA nominated four-times. The series first premiered on Milkshake! in October 2006 and currently airs every day on Milkshake! Fans of the series can watch full episodes on My5 while Little Princess games and activities are available at milkshake.tv
