Bruno Bianchi, Co-creator of Inspector Gadget, Passes Away
It is with great sadness that we can reveal the passing of French animator, Bruno Bianchi. Bianchi passed away at the age of 56, his legacy left in his co-creation, Inspector Gadget. Created with DIC founder Andy Heyward, the talented animator also worked as a writer, director, producer and artist. He also had a successful relationship with Saban and S.I.P. Animation international shows, whilst enjoying his accomplished career.
The success of Inspector Gadget was highlighted when the film was created in live action in 1999. Other animations Bianchi worked on included MASK, W.I.T.C.H. Gadget and the Gadgetinis, Heathcliff, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Beverly Hills Teens, Diplodo, Princess Sissi and Iznogoud.
Services will take on Tuesday the 6th December at Le Père Lachaise Cemetery, Paris.
