Bonnie Arnold & Mireille Soria appointed as Co-Presidents of Dreamworks Feature Animation
In a statement commending their aptitude and strong track record both within and outside of the studio, Jeffrey Katzenberg yesterday announced Bonnie Arnold and Mireille Soria as Co-Presidents of DreamWorks SKG‘s feature animation division.
Their appointment goes hand in hand with Bill Damaschke stepping down from his previous role of Chief Creative Officer, with Arnold and Soria taking the reins overseeing the production and creative development of upcoming theatrical releases for the foreseeable future.
The two appointees have been heavily involved in some of the studio’s more lucrative properties midst perceived creative difficulties. Mirielle Soria’s production filmography includes the Madagascar trilogy, also exec producing its spinoff Penguins of Madagascar, while Bonnie Arnold’s producer credits include the animated features Toy Story, Tarzan and the How To Train Your Dragon trilogy.
