The 46th Annie Awards – Winners
The Stateside ASIFA Annie Awards have announced their 2019 winners. Among those awarded were Ton Roosendaal whose work with Blender Open Source Animation Software earned him the Ub Iwerks Award (for technical advancement in the art of animation) as well as Winsor McKay Award (for career contribution to the art of animation) recipient Ralph Eggleston. Adam Burke and Frank Braxton were also celebrated posthumously with the June Foray Award (significant and benevolent/charitable impact on the art/industry of animation) and another Winsor McKay Award respectively.
