Animated Kids TV Favourites Hit Royal Mail Stamps
Some of the UK’s most loved animated TV characters from the past 60 years will be appearing on a new set of Royal Mail stamps from the 7th January 2014.
The Classic Children’s TV Stamp Set will feature characters from 12 shows including Peppa Pig, Postman Pat, Shaun the Sheep, Mr Benn, Bob the Builder, Dougal from The Magic Roundabout, Ivor the Engine, Great Uncle Bulgaria from The Wombles and Windy Miller from Camberwick Green.
Andrew Hammond, of Royal Mail Stamps, said: “For over 60 years, Britain’s children’s TV characters have brought cheer to generations of viewers. It feels appropriate to celebrate all of these unforgettable characters on a set of very special stamps.”
