CRAFT International Animation Festival are pleased to announce that until the end of March 2025, we are waiting for short animated films for the 5th CRAFT International Animation Festival (28.10 – 01.11.2025, Yogyakarta, Indonesia).

CRAFT International Animation Festival has THREE parallel competitions and TWO non-competition panoramas (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):
- INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF STOP-MOTION & TRADITIONAL TECHNIQUES IN ANIMATION (NO DIGITAL 3D/2D, OR WITH USING ONLY PARTLY) – OPEN TO THE WHOLE WORLD
- ONLY FOR THE ANIMATED MOVIES FROM SOUTHEAST ASIAN COUNTRIES (movies created in the SEA region) – COMPETITION OF ALL TECHNIQUES IN ANIMATION (INCLUDING DIGITAL 3D/2D)
- NO DIALOGUE SHORTS ANIMATED MOVIES FOR KIDS – STOP-MOTION & TRADITIONAL TECHNIQUES IN ANIMATION (NO DIGITAL 3D/2D, OR WITH USING ONLY PARTLY) – OPEN TO THE WHOLE WORLD
- DIGITAL PANORAMA – A NON-COMPETITIVE PROGRAM OPEN TO THE WHOLE WORLD
- PANORAMA ANIMASI INDONESIA – A NON-COMPETITIVE PROGRAM OPEN TO DOMESTIC, INDONESIAN PRODUCTIONS, open for ALL TECHNIQUES – digital, non-digital, stop-motion, and mixed
Let’s celebrate craftsmanship and talent together, but also authenticity, diversity, and physicality! We hope to see your film during the pre-selection and then you in person between October 28 and November 1, 2025, during the most colourful animated film festival in Southeast Asia!
