Watch: ‘Mr Madila’ Released Online
Mr Madila or The Colour of Nothing is the Royal College of Art graduation film by Tusk director Rory Waudby-Tolley that has been delighting festival circuit, scooping awards internationally.
Synopsis:
Mr Madila or The Colour of Nothing documents a series of conversations between the film-maker and a gifted spiritual healer, exploring the inner mind, the fabric of the universe, and the nature of reality itself, through the sacred art of animation.
The film has been screened at over 40 animation and film festivals picking up awards from the Royal Television Society, Fantoche, London International Animation Festival and Manchester Animation Festival. Noticeably the award the film seems to garner more often than not is the audience award prize, rather than the student award. Mr Madila is clearly a memorable film that strikes a chord with anyone watching.
